Alex Namisnyk was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2011 and the High Court of Australia in 2012.
Alex joined Abrams Turner Whelan Family Lawyers in 2012 having previously worked as a graduate clerk with DLA Piper and as Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Rees at the Family Court of Australia.
At ATW Family Law, Alex's practice is exclusively in the area of Family Law in which he has developed considerable experience in a broad range of matters, including divorce, parenting, financial issues and Binding Financial Agreements. He has had considerable experience in complex financial and jurisdictional matters. He is responsible for legal research within the firm and prides himself on his ability to respond to his client's needs in a calm and compassionate manner.
Alex completed his mediation training in 2015 and in 2018 Alex completed his training in Collaborative Practice.
In recognition of Alex's skills and experience, Alex was appointed as an Associate to the firm in August 2017.
In 2019 and 2020, Alex was named as a "Rising Star" in Family Law in Doyle's Guide to the Legal Profession.
Alex became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2019.
Alex is on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
